How it started
After building SHIFT. for Bank and SSC coaching institutes, the next question was whether the same architecture could serve a different education workflow. The whitelabel system, access model, and admin logic stayed intact.
This is not a separate hero product. It is an edition of SHIFT. adapted for schools. The product decisions were about what schools need that coaching centres do not: homework, report cards, term structure, classwise grouping, and teacher workflows.
What changes in the school edition
Homework tracking replaces mock tests
Schools assign and track homework chapter by chapter. Students mark completion. Teachers see the dashboard. The mock test tracker from SHIFT. was replaced entirely with a homework assignment and completion flow.
Term dates replace exam countdowns
Instead of SSC and Bank exam dates, the home screen shows term dates set by the admin. Mid term, finals, and holidays are all configurable per class.
Report card generation
Admins enter marks per subject per student. The app generates a structured PDF report card exportable for parent meetings. Built for real school workflow, not a generic reporting template.
Classwise admin controls
The admin panel is grouped by class, not by exam type. Teachers manage their own class. School admins see everything.
Features

Admin posts announcements that appear as a red banner on every student's home screen. Holidays, exam schedule changes, event notices, all in one tap.
Business Model
The whitelabel, per student access code model from SHIFT. carries directly. The school gets the app under its own name. Revenue is per student and fully transparent. No platform cut.
