Overview

A workforce system that gave management one shared view of who was working, where, and with proof.

I built and rolled out this mobile-first PWA for Vardhanah Financial Services, a 55+ employee debt recovery agency in Asansol. The product covers geofenced office attendance, field visit proof, role-based access, live staff visibility, requests, and exports across seven roles.

The founder shared that the system can save roughly 1 to 2 hours of daily manual Excel and attendance checking work. It also reduced the confusion that came from employees saying they were working under another supervisor or team, because supervisors and management now see the same live status.

Live staff statusManagement can see active, offline, on leave, and not checked in employees in one place, filtered by role.
Field visit proofEvery field visit combines app GPS with uploaded photo proof, making verification easier for supervisors and management.
Office geofence rulesTelecallers, backoffice staff, and runners must check in and out within a 50 metre office radius.
Attendance requestsIf geofence or GPS blocks attendance, employees can send a reason and management can approve the day from the requests screen.
Location without Google Maps APIInstead of depending only on reverse geocoding, I used OpenStreetMap data plus 28,806 local landmarks so management saw more readable place labels for field work around Asansol.
Role-based workflowsEach role sees a different home flow, from session-based proprietor attendance to field-visit tracking for FOS staff.
Monthly exportsAttendance history can be exported for operational review, with role-specific detail like calls made for telecallers.
Code-based onboardingNo passwords. Employees sign up with pre-generated role codes that lock to one profile and one session token.
Operational controlsAnnouncements, holidays, teams, rankings, resign tracking, and auto checkout all sit inside the same system.

Founder feedback was direct. Less manual Excel work, less attendance checking, and less ambiguity between supervisors. The biggest win was not just recording attendance. It was creating one shared source of truth for office and field activity across a 55+ employee team.
